Completed in 2007, this 1,000-unit loft condominium conversion of the former South Water Market produce market encompasses 6 city blocks in the shadow of the University of Illinois – Chicago Campus.  Respecting its landmark status, while reaching for the highest level of market-rate product, University Commons is one of the largest and most successful residential conversions of a blighted industrial zone in the America.
